Winter in The Heart of the Adirondack Mountains by Jen Curry

Hibernation is my way of being in the winter months, spiritual practice is forefront in those hours where the mind may want to cling to those old worn out grooves that no longer serve this expanding consciousness. Seeing the bigger picture as the body peels away the years of youth.  The memories replace desire to do, with just being.  Contemplation, reflection, tranquility, contentment, joy, equanimity and thoughts of how best I can benefit others as moments turn into hours, days into weeks and how quick the months and years will dissolve.  The diamond mind sparkles as this particular facet, shimmers and shines with the oneness of awareness that is eternal.
